 While grieving his father’s absence, Michael is given an ancient box for his thirteenth birthday that catapult’s him into an emotional nightmare he never asked for.  

This film was made for the OIF Challenge Film Festival in Orlando, FL. Nominated for 11 categories:  Best Hair, Best Sound(WON),Best Cinematography, Best Editor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Music, Best Actor, Best Story, Best Director, Best Picture, and The Audience Award.

The Kota'K was created & written by Alias Fylms. I was apart of the making of this film assisting with lighting(Gaffer) & Camera (2nd A.D.) and was nominated for Best Cinematography with Tom Hanly (1st A.D.)
